We, at 8 BRD Air Force, Avadi, Chennai are conducting a two-day symposium on 3rd and 4th of Nov 22 at CHENNAI with a view to achieve self-reliance. The theme of the symposium is “Metamorphosis Of Base Repair Depot from Overhauling to Manufacturing Hubs”. The symposium will be inaugurated by Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief Maintenance Command. All our Base Repair Depots engaged in overhaul of Fighter aircraft, Transport aircraft, Helicopters, Aircraft systems, Radar systems, Guided Weapon systems, EW systems, Ground systems, Communication systems, Airfield Support Vehicles, Aircraft Support Vehicles and Arrestor Barriers will be participating. This symposium will provide a huge opportunity to the industry in showcasing their capabilities and will also provide a platform to them to directly interact with our Base Repair Depots.
